Pictures vs Words

One picture is worth ten thousand words“, a saying we’re all familiar with I’m sure. And its never been truer when it comes to the online world and the internet. Attention spans are notoriously short these days.

Whether you’re into Internet Marketing (OR SHOULD I SAY ‘ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE INTO INTERNET MARKETING’), Social Media, Website building, Twittering, Facebooking, Selling Digital Products, Presenting Webinars, Online Advertising, there’s an endless list of possibilities for sure.

You Need Killer Graphics

No matter which area you are interested in, you will need some killer graphics to get online attention and website traffic.

And when it comes to the most popular graphics online these days, ‘Infographics’ have to be near (if not), AT the top of the list. But here at Artographico we have taken them to a somewhat ‘different’ level. We build and promote ‘Artographics’.

Infographics vs Artographics

‘So what exactly ARE Artographics?’ I hear a mumble at the back. Well they are like ‘Infographics’, but have some essentially different and crucial aspects and qualities. They both share the same dimensions and are long, tall and thin.

This is a vital attribute as it means that they are ideal to display on Mobile/Cell Phones.

You Need Killer Traffic

Nowadays, Mobile traffic to websites from Phones, has taken over all other technologies! Its bigger than traffic from Laptops, Tower PCs and Tablets. So if you want your work to be visited and seen, you’d best pay attention to that statistic.

Yes indeed, Artographics have a lot in common with infographics in that they need to be researched and designed in a similar way. But, and this is a big difference, they display Art, Graphic Designs and interesting facts about the Art as opposed to mainly focusing on statistics.

They’re easier to create than Infographics (which require some serious statistical research to build), they are fun to make, and they look fantastic. They can cover a HUGE range of topics ranging from Ancient Egypt, Prehistoric Monsters, Mythical Dragons, to Retro Science Fiction.

Resource Fun

They do require top quality images and interesting info to look stunning however, and these parts need to be sourced. But that’s easy if you know where to look, and actually becomes part of the fun!

WARNING:

Artographics are totally fascinating to put together, they’ll ‘hook you in’.
